overnight on the daily cal website showing how intense that fire became. five people were living in a duplex. they all got out safely including a woman in a wheelchair who had to be helped out by police. four homes surrounding this one were also evacuated as a precaution. those people have been allowed back in except for the family of five that is homeless this morning. firefighters in the meantime are evaluating the damage. >> during the firefight, there was a collapse of the roof and second floor which resulted in us backing out of the building and fighting the fire defensively. this is where we put our ladder trucks and spray water from the temperatures to of the roof and hose lines into the windows -- water from the tops of the roof and hose lines into the windows. >> reporter: part of the roof collapsed falling on the first story. but firefighters pulled back before that happened. nobody was hurt. now, there was some talk that maybe a propane tank may have been involved in starting this fire. firefighters will not confirm that this morning. they say once they're sure all the hot spots a
